About

The sky above us can often be grounding when we lose our sense of self. Whether it’s watching the clouds fly by in their carefree manner, the intense joy you get from seeing a rainbow or counting the stars who’s light travelled for a long time to reach our part of the universe. To breathe in the fresh air and just be.

L-INK are proud to present this exhibition that stems from our theme for this year: Identity! As group of young people we have worked together to create this exhibition inspired by workshops, discussions, trips and exhibitions the group have partook in during the programme. Our influences span from the classic goddesses Yevonde photographed, to the modern, internet inspired works of Zara Worth, to studying the moon and the sky itself at Allenheads Contemporary Arts. As a result we have worked together to create an exhibition full of art pieces that represent the sky at dawn, midday, dusk and night. So we invite you to come look at the sky and lose yourself in it, feel free to dress up, take photos and make your own constellation.
